FAQs
For employees
How can I get started?
The first step is to make sure that your company is signed up. Once your company is signed up, the person who registered your company will be able to invite staff to join your company’s Coffee Roulette.
Why do I have to be invited to join my company’s Coffee Roulette?
This is so your company has control over who joins its Coffee Roulette, and prevents random people from joining in.
Who can set up a company for Coffee Roulette?
Anyone with authority to run a networking/ engagement program at your work. In our experience this is someone in Human Resources, Internal Communications or maybe your social club.
How do I find out if my company has already been set up for Coffee Roulette and who my contact person is?
At this stage, the manager of the Coffee Roulette account will have to get in contact with you.
I was sent an e-mail with details to get started, but I’ve lost the e-mail. What should I do?
I need to change the days that I’m available for coffee meetings
Log in to https://coffee-roulette.com, log in and update the days of the week you’re unavailable. This helps us match you only with people who are available on the same days as you.
What if there are an odd number of people being matched?
We will match one group with three people instead of two.
What if employees are in different offices?
We recommend trying a meeting over video conference, Skype or phone.
Is there a minimum commitment?
There is no minimum period – stop at any time, but we think you will love it and want to keep going.
Who pays for Coffee Roulette?
The company pays for its users, users who are joining a company to be matched never have to pay anything.
How does billing work?
The first four weeks are free. After the four week trial, your company contact will be asked to supply credit card details to keep Coffee Roulette going at your workplace.
Billing is done monthly in arrears, based on how many people are matched for coffee during that month. It costs 99 cents (Australian incl GST) per person per match.
I have holidays soon and won’t be available for coffee meetings – what should I do?
Go to Coffee Roulette, log in and block out the days or weeks you won’t be available. Coffee Roulette won’t match you for coffee during those blocked out periods.
